Loyola University Chicago provides Email Protection and Anti-Spam detection as part of Microsoft Office 365 services, utilizing Microsoft's Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
What is ATP?
ATP is a cloud-based filtering service that helps protect your mailbox against spam and malware. It is a learning tool that improves spam detection over time. Initially, you may see a slight increase in spam, which will be reduced as you identify and tag spam or junk mail.
ATP Filters Available:
- Junk Filters: Helps manage and filter spam emails.
- Reporting Junk Email: Enables you to label spam or phishing emails to improve detection.
- Reporting Erroneous Junk Email: Allows you to label false positives to help refine spam filtering.
