What is the MFA process for External REDCap?
The External REDCap platform uses a built-in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) process to enhance security. Please refer to the attached PDF for detailed instructions on setting up and using MFA with REDCap.
Microsoft Authenticator App Setup:
When using the Microsoft Authenticator App, you will have two different Loyola accounts listed on the app:
- One account for REDCap.
- One account for all other MFA/LUC resources.
What should I do if I get a new phone?
If you get a new phone, you will need to re-scan the QR code to set up MFA again. Please follow the steps outlined in the PDF to complete this process.
