Loyola Secure Transfer(LST) - Common issues/inquiries

How do I request files from a source outside of the University?

  1. Login to the Loyola Secure Transfer (LST) website here: https://securetransfer.luc.edu/ .
  2. Click on the gear icon shown in the upper right hand corner of the page.
  3. Click "Request File" in the drop down menu that appears below the gear.
  4. Complete the message composition screen that appears with the third party source's contact information.
  5. Click the red "Request File" button.
  6. LST will send an email message to the contact informing them of the file request. The message will contain an embedded link that the contact must click.
  7. The link will open a view of LST within which the contact can drop/upload files. A successful file upload will trigger an email message about the file awaiting download.

Is Loyola Secure Transfer a file storage?
Loyola Secure Transfer is not a storage service. The system will erase files after 30 days of uploading them.
