Issue 1
How can I securely transfer files using Loyola Secure Transfer (LST)?

Solution: Use the LST system for secure file sharing.

  1. Go to the LST website: https://securetransfer.luc.edu/.
  2. Log in using your University ID (UVID) credentials.
  3. Follow the on-screen options to upload and share files securely with recipients inside or outside the University.

Issue 2
How do I request files from someone outside of the University using LST?

Solution: Send a file request through the LST platform.

  1. Log in to the LST website: https://securetransfer.luc.edu/.
  2. Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
  3. Select "Request File" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Complete the message composition screen by entering the third party’s contact information.
  5. Click the red "Request File" button to send the request.
  6. The recipient will receive an email with an embedded link to upload the requested file. After the file is uploaded, you will receive a notification email for download.

Issue 3
How long are files stored in LST?

Solution: All files uploaded to LST are automatically erased after 30 days.

  1. Note that Loyola Secure Transfer is not a file storage service.
