How can I securely transfer files using Loyola Secure Transfer (LST)?
Solution: Use the LST system for secure file sharing.
- Go to the LST website: https://securetransfer.luc.edu/.
- Log in using your University ID (UVID) credentials.
- Follow the on-screen options to upload and share files securely with recipients inside or outside the University.
Issue 2
How do I request files from someone outside of the University using LST?
Solution: Send a file request through the LST platform.
- Log in to the LST website: https://securetransfer.luc.edu/.
- Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the page.
- Select "Request File" from the dropdown menu.
- Complete the message composition screen by entering the third party’s contact information.
- Click the red "Request File" button to send the request.
- The recipient will receive an email with an embedded link to upload the requested file. After the file is uploaded, you will receive a notification email for download.
Issue 3
How long are files stored in LST?
Solution: All files uploaded to LST are automatically erased after 30 days.
- Note that Loyola Secure Transfer is not a file storage service.
