How can I install IBM SPSS Statistics 31 on my Loyola office desktop computer?
Use the Software Center to install IBM SPSS Statistics 31.

  1. Click the Windows icon on your computer’s taskbar (bottom-left corner).
  2. Select the "Loyola Software Links" folder from the list of folders.
  3. Within that folder, select "Software Center."
  4. In Software Center, locate "IBM SPSS Statistics 31" in the list of Applications.
  5. Click on the "IBM SPSS Statistics 31" icon.
  6. Click the "Install" button.
  7. Allow the installation to complete. This may take a few minutes.
  8. Once finished, click the Windows icon again.
  9. You should now see "IBM SPSS Statistics 31" in your list of applications.
  10. If you do not see the icon, restart your computer and check again.

Why am I getting an expired license message for a previous version of SPSS installed on my computer?
Install the latest version of SPSS and, if necessary, submit a Service Request for a new license.

  1. Follow the steps above to install IBM SPSS Statistics 31 from Software Center.
  2. If the expired license message persists or you need a new license key, proceed to submit a Service Request.
  3. Use the ITS Service Portal link below to request a new license:

  5. Provide all requested details in the Service Request form and wait for a response.

How can I have IBM SPSS Statistics installed on a personal computer or I have encountered an expired license message for a non-LUC standard image system?
Submit a Service Request through the ITS Service Portal to obtain a license or assistance for a personal install.

  1. Submit a home user service request form.
  2. Once approved, you will receive a personalized authorization code and a link providing access to download the latest version of the software.
  3. Uninstall any previous versions of the SPSS.
  4. Follow the instructions to install the latest version of SPSS.
