Course Site in Sakai

Why Can't I See My Course in Sakai?

If you cannot see a course in Sakai, there are a few common reasons and steps you can take to resolve the issue:

  1. Course Not Published:

    Instructors may choose not to publish their course sites until the first class session. If you suspect this is the case, notify your instructor or a classmate about your pending course access.

  2. Enrollment Not Synced:

    You must be registered for the course in LOCUS to access it in Sakai. If you have recently enrolled, please allow up to 24 hours for your registration to sync with Sakai.

  3. Locating Missing Course Sites:

    If your course does not appear alongside your other class modules, follow these steps:

    1. Click on the waffle grid icon in the top-right corner of the Sakai page.


       
    2. To make the course site visible, click the star icon next to the course module. You can also star all courses for the current semester.


       

       

    3. Reload the page.

    4. Your courses should now appear in the Sakai header.
