How Do Faculty & Staff Install Microsoft Project or Visio?

Faculty and staff can install Microsoft Project or Visio by following these steps:

  1. Go to portal.office.com.
  2. Sign in with your Loyola credentials, if prompted.
  3. From the upper-right corner of the Office home page, select Install and more > Install Microsoft 365 apps.
    (If you see a different start page, navigate to admin.microsoft.com/account#installs.)
  4. From My Account, select Apps & Devices.
  5. Find Visio or Project from the list.
  6. Choose your language and the 64-bit version, then select Install Visio or Install Project.

What If You Have a License, but It Is Not Assigned to You?

If you have a license but it is not assigned to you:

  1. Ensure you have your Invoice Number or PO Number ready.
  2. Complete the form within this service portal for access.

What If You Do Not Have a License or an Invoice Number?

If you do not currently have a license for Microsoft Visio or Project, follow these steps:

  1. Obtain a quote for the license by contacting:
  2. Process the quote through the Loyola Purchasing Department, adhering to any relevant procedures.
  3. Once the order is finalized, submit a new 'Visio & Project Licensing' Request in the ITS Service Portal.
