Web Cameras Built into PC Displays

Web cameras built into LUC-owned displays (VoIP monitors) may not activate when using a virtual meeting application such as Zoom.

The VoIP monitors work because of a USB cable (in addition to the video cable and power cable) running from the monitor to the workstation.

Try these steps if experiencing a problem with the web camera built into the PC display:

  1. Power off the monitor.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Power on the monitor.

If that does not fix the problem, then try to:

  1. Unplug the USB cable from the monitor.
  2. Wait 10 seconds.
  3. Plug the USB cable back into the monitor.
