What is ExpressVPN and why is it blocked on Loyola's network?
ExpressVPN is a virtual private network (VPN) service. However, due to fraudulent activity originating from certain IP ranges associated with this VPN, it has been blocked on Loyola's network to prevent potential attacks using ExpressVPN.
Why am I having trouble accessing my LUC accounts with multi-factor authentication (MFA) enabled?
If you are experiencing issues accessing LUC accounts that require multi-factor authentication (MFA), it could be because ExpressVPN is active on your device. Follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
Steps to resolve MFA access issues:
- Disconnect ExpressVPN: It’s recommended to disconnect from ExpressVPN when accessing LUC services for security purposes.
- Try Logging in Again: After disconnecting from ExpressVPN, attempt to log in to your LUC account again.
- Re-enable ExpressVPN if necessary: Once you’ve successfully logged in, you can reconnect to ExpressVPN if no errors occur.
