Connecting to LUC Network
Wireless connectivity to the LUC network is widely available across campuses. If you have trouble connecting, start by forgetting the network and reconnecting. For step-by-step instructions, visit: Wireless FAQ
- Forget the LUC network on your device.
- Navigate to your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
- Select the LUC network (e.g., LUC, Eduroam, or LUC-Guest).
- Enter the necessary credentials (if required).
- Verify the connection.
Connecting to LUC-Guest
LUC-Guest Wi-Fi is available for visitors, with registration lasting 72 hours. For instructions, visit: Guest Wi-Fi Instructions
- Navigate to your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
- Select "LUC-Guest" from the available networks.
- Register using the guest portal.
- For extended access, request a login ID from the ITS Service Portal.
- Verify the connection.

Connecting Entertainment Devices to LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc Network
Registration of entertainment devices, such as those listed below, requires two steps. This list is not definitive and may grow as new devices arrive on the market:
- Any PlayStation
- Any Xbox
- Most Smart TVs
- AppleTV
- DVR
- Kindle
- Most Blu-Ray players
- Most connected printers
- Nintendo 3DS & Switch
- Nintendo Wii (Ethernet only)
- Sony PS Vita
- Roku
- TiVo
Follow these steps:
- Connect the entertainment device to the LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc Wi-Fi network.
- Register the device by visiting LoyolaNetReg on a PC or smartphone already connected to the LUC Wi-Fi network.
- Turn the device off, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on again while connecting to the LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc network.
Eduroam
Eduroam provides wireless Internet access for academic and research facilities worldwide. Active account holders at participating institutions can access Eduroam while visiting LUC. For configuration assistance, visit: Eduroam Configuration
- Go to your device’s Wi-Fi settings.
- Select "Eduroam" from the available networks.
- Enter your institution’s credentials.
- Ensure “Use device Mac” is selected (Google Pixel users).
- Verify the connection.
