A wireless network is essential for modern communication, providing secure, mobile Internet access for users in various environments. Loyola's wireless networks enable faculty, staff, students, and visitors to connect seamlessly from laptops, smart phones, and other devices via wireless access points located throughout the Lake Shore, Water Tower, and Health Sciences campuses.

Key Features

Multiple Network Options: Users can choose between several networks tailored to their needs: 'LUC' for faculty, staff, and students; 'LUC-Guest' for visitors; and 'LUC-TV-Printer-Games-Misc' for devices that require different security protocols.

Network Accessibility: Wireless access points are conveniently located in campus buildings, residence halls, and public spaces, allowing users to stay connected while on the go.

Secure Authentication: The 'LUC' network requires an active Loyola UVID and password for secure access, ensuring that only authorized users can connect.

Device Registration: Users must register their devices to access certain networks, enhancing security and ensuring proper resource allocation.

Eduroam Service: This international roaming service allows users from member institutions to access Wi-Fi securely when visiting other institutions.

This service is provided at no additional cost to eligible* individuals or departments, as it is fully funded by the institution.
