Loyola University Chicago promotes the proper disposal, recycling, and reuse of materials to support sustainability efforts. Equipment pickups are available for University-owned materials, while resources are provided for the responsible recycling of personal items in alignment with environmental goals.

Key Features

  • ITS Equipment Pickup: University-purchased items with LUC barcodes can be scheduled for pickup by ITS. Submit an Equipment Pickup/Recycling Service Request through the ITS Service Portal.
  • Personal Material Disposal: Non-ITS-eligible items can be responsibly disposed of or recycled following recommendations from the Institute of Environmental Sustainability.
  • Campus Recycling Locations: Access drop-off points on campus for items no longer needed, ensuring adherence to best practices for environmental stewardship.

This service is provided at no additional cost to eligible* individuals or departments, as it is fully funded by the institution.
