UPass

The U-Pass program provides Loyola University Chicago students with unlimited rides on the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) buses and trains. This program simplifies commuting for eligible students and integrates the cost into tuition fees.

• Automatic Enrollment: Eligible students are automatically registered for the U-Pass program, with fees included in tuition.
• Simple Access: Use a Ventra card to access CTA services by tapping the card on Ventra readers for buses and trains.
• Exclusions: U-Pass does not cover rides on Pace or Metra services.
• Troubleshooting Support: Assistance is available if your Ventra card does not work properly.

The U-Pass is automatically activated for eligible students, for use on the CTA buses and trains. To ride, students must tap their Ventra card on the readers provided on buses and at train turnstiles.
