How Do I Access Employee Self-Service, Kronos, and Lawson?
Employee Self-Service, Kronos, and Lawson are web-based applications that allow active employees to manage payroll, benefits, and more. These applications are accessible at the following URLs:
- ess.luc.edu
- kronos.luc.edu
- lawson.luc.edu
When Can New Employees Access These Applications?
New employees, including Student Workers, may need to wait up to two days after their official start date before accessing these applications.
How Do I Connect to These Applications?
- Lawson: Requires a connection to GlobalProtect while off-campus.
- Employee Self-Service and Kronos: Require Loyola's Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) regardless of where you log in.

W-2 and 1095-C Tax Forms
- Active employees can access their W-2 forms through Employee Self-Service.
- Former employees will receive their W-2 forms via mail.

Pay Stubs
- Active employees can print pay stubs for previous pay periods through Employee Self-Service.
- Former employees may request pay stub reprints by emailing payroll@luc.edu. Include the following information:
- Name
- Department
- Hire date
- Requested pay dates
Former Employees and Retirees
Former employees, including Student Workers and Retirees, do not have access to Employee Self-Service, Kronos, or Lawson. For assistance, contact either the Human Resources Department or Payroll Services at payroll@luc.edu.
