How Do I Login as a Guest in LOCUS?
- Navigate to LOCUS:
Go to locus.luc.edu.
- Select "Parent/Guest Login"

- Log into LOCUS:
Please use the credentials set up by your student. Parents and Guests should NOT be using their students credentials.
How Do I Grant Guest Access in LOCUS?
- Access the Guest Access Instructions:
Students can grant limited access to their LOCUS account by following the instructions starting on page six of the LOCUS-FERPA document.
- Log into LOCUS:
Go to locus.luc.edu and log in with your Loyola credentials.
- Add a Parent or Guest:
- From the Student Homepage, click “Profile”.

- On the left side menu, select “Parent/Guest Access”.

- Select "Add Parent/Guest"
- Read the FERPA Agreement and click “I Accept” to proceed.
- Enter the parent/guest's last name, first name, email address, and relation.
- Create a password that includes at least six (6) characters and two (2) numeric characters.
- Select items you want to provide access to in the “Grant Access To” box which can include View my Account Summary, View my Financial Aid, Vie my e-Bill, View 1098T, Discuss Academic Record, View & Create Payment Plan, Waive/Fast Track Student Health Insurance+
- Password Support for Parent/Guest Access:
- ITS does not maintain or reset Parent/Guest passwords.
- If a password reset is required, the student can manage it by logging into their LOCUS account.
- Steps for resetting a Parent/Guest password:
- Log into LOCUS at locus.luc.edu.
- Click “Personal Portfolio”, then click “Parent/Guest Access”.
- Under the Parent/Guest UserID tab, click the username of the Parent/Guest.
- Click “Update” to create a new password or click “Delete” to remove access.
Additional Troubleshooting Steps:
- Open a Private or Incognito Browser Window:
To prevent cached data issues, open a new tab in private or incognito mode before proceeding.
- Clear Cache:

- Remove Old Links and Bookmarks:
Old bookmarks and saved links may lead to the wrong site. Please clear those old saved links and bookmarks and navigate to locus.luc.edu.
