NAP (Non-Active Persons) Application
The NAP (Non-Active Persons) application at Loyola University Chicago is managed by the Web Development team and primarily used by Identity & Access Management teams. This application is designed for account management and record maintenance of individuals not currently active within the main systems, including temporary staff, contractors, and visiting students.
Key Features
- Automated account expiration twice per year on April 1st and October 1st, with email reminders sent to account sponsors and department proxies 30 days prior to expiration.
- Option to renew or remove NAP accounts to avoid continued reminder emails.
- Manual matching and creation process to search, match, or create LIDs (Loyola IDs) for account requests.
- Automated UVID creation and email assignment (if requested) processed approximately every two hours during workdays.
- Assistance provided by ITS for application-related issues.
