Cayuse

Overview

Cayuse is Loyola University Chicago’s electronic research administration platform. It provides a centralized solution for creating and submitting grant proposals and for establishing and managing grant awards, sub-awards, contracts, and research compliance activities throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Proposal Development and Submission: Supports the creation, review, approval, and submission of sponsored research proposals.
  • Award Management: Assists with establishing and managing grant awards, sub-awards, and contracts from initial setup through project closeout.
  • Research Compliance: Provides modules for submitting and managing regulatory and compliance activities, including Institutional Review Board, Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, and Institutional Biosafety Committee protocols.
  • Conflict of Interest Reporting: Supports the disclosure and management of outside interests and potential conflicts of interest.
  • Centralized Research Administration: Brings proposal, award, contract, and compliance processes together within a single electronic platform.
  • Training and Support Resources: Offers access to training materials, user manuals, frequently asked questions, the Cayuse Help Center, Cayuse Academy, and the Cayuse Connect Community.

This service is provided at no additional cost to eligible Loyola University Chicago users.
